Paul Scurrah is a Photographer based in the North East and works everywhere.

I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. My mum supported me from when I was young, buying me a Minolta Dynax 404 film SLR at the age of 17 (recognising the ever-growing stash of photographs from the 'point and shoots' she thought I 'might as well get better with a real camera').

I was hooked. Ten years later at the age of 27, I treated myself to a Canon EOS400D DSLR and my collection grew exponentially. Taking photographs for friends, family and my own joy, the camera went everywhere with me.

Fast forward another 10 years to age 37 and I decided to upgrade again and go Professional. I now use a Canon EOS5D Mark 4 DSLR with a suite of luxury lenses and a portable studio.

There is something magical about a well-taken photograph. In today's world, where once precious photos are now so easily thrown away, I work hard to make sure my work is timeless for all to enjoy in the future.
